Can one body carry the stories of generations?
The body remembers. Not only its own experiences, but also what is passed on from generation to generation. The pains that could not be mourned and the joys that never got a chance to blossom. The Ancestral Inheritance workshop invites you to a ceremonial practice of remembering through breath, movement, sound and intuitive touch.
Yara De Dannan and Naël Elhage work with the body as a living map. One that bears the imprints not only of personal events but also of inherited patterns. Those that shape how we relate, how we express ourselves and how we protect ourselves. Through guided somatic work, they create a space where it is possible to be sensitive to what is alive right now, and to give space to what has been repressed, silenced or clamped down by external rules and internal defenses.
It is not about performance or therapy. It is a practice of liberation. A process in which participants move with what emerges. Whether it is anger, peace, laughter, sadness or tenderness. The body becomes a bridge between the inner truth and the world we create around us.
The workshop opens up space for deep listening, true expression and presence as it is. Unrefined, but real. Yara and Naël create a framework in which the body can speak stories that are ready to be felt and released.
