FACILITATORS AND GUIDES OF THE HEALING FESTIVAL 2025
Paul Izak (HI/USA)
Love has many forms, but there is only one.
Paul Izak's love for music grows, just like the fruits in his garden.
Paul represents a healthy and simple life, and believes that one should honor oneself as an individual in order to better contribute to the community through healthy and sustainable practices. This is the message that comes through Paul’s music, as he lives what he sings.
Paul Izak was born and raised on the Hawaiian Islands and currently lives on the Island of Oahu. He discovered his own voice at a very young age and began performing as a child. He impersonated famous artists like Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Neil Diamond.
But he was searching for his own voice. He found it through the harmonica. His inspiration came from his uncle Brian, a local blues harmonica player, and other blues musicians on the island.
During his first year of college, Paul began learning to play the guitar and searching for his own sound, which can best be described as a combination of folk, blues, rock, and reggae.
Later, he discovered drums, which allowed him to connect with the community through the freedom of unlimited creative expression.
