Ecstatic Dance is about the immediate experience of yourself. It’s up to you whether you want to relax, turn off your mind, feel your essence, tune into the community, or do all of that together.

Under Jethro’s guidance, you’ll feel that dance is all about you and your current state. It’s about intuitive, free, and completely natural movement.

Jethro first worked as a professional dancer, performing across Europe and Asia. Around 2015, he discovered Ecstatic Dance in Amsterdam. It didn’t take long before he became one of the ceremony leaders. As a facilitator, he started applying his knowledge of free dance. In 2020, he decided to also become an Ecstatic Dance DJ.

Jethro’s life path is marked by dance of both the body and the mind.

• He regularly DJs at the Ecstatic Dance studio Odessa in Amsterdam.
• He was a dancer and choreographer at the Groningen Dance Center years ago.
• He is a certified Meditation teacher.
• In 2016, he worked as a masseur at An Chi Massage Lounge.
• He is an active Lucid Dreamer.

Currently, Jethro travels the world and has played on almost every European dance scenes. He loves creating large waves, with many different genres covering the full spectrum of emotions. As a dancer, Jethro has a tendency to really feel the music with his whole body. He loves reading the crowd’s energy and playing exactly what’s needed. His dance journeys go deep, are mysterious and fiery, but also poetic and full of color!

His sets are epic. At Healing Festival, you can expect deeply integrated transformational journeys with Jethro’s understanding guidance.
