Book private time just for yourself or in a smaller group with a performer directly at the Healing Festival

Individual and group services are provided by lecturers apart from the main program and are paid separately.

In the form below, select the required service by the name of the lecturer. After clicking on the line or the "SELECT" button, a menu of dates and a description of the service will appear. After you pay for your order, you will receive a ticket with a QR code in your email, which you can save on your phone or print and bring with you.

Foreign lecturers will conduct their services in English, lecturers from the Czech Republic will conduct their services in Czech. Each service is marked with the abbreviation CS for the Czech language or EN for the English language for better clarity.

This lesson takes place on an aerial rig structure. Please arrive at the Individual and Group Services reception before your lesson to check your ticket first, and then our team will direct you to the location where your lesson will take place.

IMOXE (EN): Temazcal

Temazcal takes place in a location off the specified tents for personal and group services. Please arrive at the Individual and Group Services reception before your lesson to check your ticket first, and then our team will direct you to the location where your lesson will be held.

If it is your first time in a completely ancestral / traditional temazcal, you can participate or leave the temazcal whenever you feel it’s necessary; it’s not mandatory to stay inside of the temazcal for the full 2 hours.

For the temazcal ideally you will need:

1 liter of water in a thermos
towel
swimming suit, Bikini or Cotton clothing for the temazcal (sarong, dress or long skirt)
warm Change clothes when leaving temazcal

Jitka Mandalam (CS): The Stone People Sweat Lodge Ceremony

The ritual is an ongoing ceremony. WARNING: It is not conducted according to Lakota tradition. It is not Temazcal.

It is the tradition of the Paths of Transformation, Braided Hair, Fire Medicine (Indian concept of Tantra) and the Path of Beauty leading to the healing of all relationships. The Ceremony of the Stone People, is a ceremony by which Native Americans honor Mother Earth and also the connection of the Mother Earth to the Ancestral Sun. It is a celebration of the union of Woman and Man. Through this ritual, all relationships are healed and mended. Into the lodge, as into the womb of Mother Earth, one comes to regenerate, die and be reborn. To leave behind the old and find the new. To heal our relationships and find the desire to love. The heated stones - the seed of the light of the Ancestor Sun is brought into the darkness of Mother Earth's womb. Loving light and darkness. From this connection we are born, reborn and move on with a clearer awareness of self, in full power and beauty.

Tradition
A tradition that goes back to the teachers of John Hawken (Star Water - founder of the Path of Transformation organization and school) to the shamanic lodge called the Morning Star Dream Weavers Lodge. It contains the teachings of the Medicine Circles carried by The Twisted Hair Society. It has been brought into modern times by such as Arwyn Dreamwalker. Arwyn, called Metis (coloured) - half Indian, was a teacher of John Hawken and was also, for example, a pupil of Don Juan (known from the books of Carlos Castaneda). The Jitka Wakanu Mandalam Medicine Way carries on this teaching in its annual shamanic trainings. She also made a film about this journey, "The Medicine Way".

10:00 - 17:00 p.m. - Ritual of sweat lodge preparation (takes place only on Thursdays - voluntary participation)

10:00 Site preparation.
10:00-13:00 The Calling of the Rods (traditional collection of rods at a lodge in the area - an expedition to the surroundings).
13:00 Punching.
14:00 Ritual linking of the rods according to medical tradition.
15:00 Covering the sweat lodge.
16:00 Creating the altar and Meeting the Stone People (stones that will go into the lodge).

17:00 - 19:00 p.m. - Rapé, Sananga with Black Panther at the lodge (takes place only on Thursdays - voluntary participation)

19:00 - 21:00 p.m. - Ritual fire lighting (voluntary participation)
The ritual lighting of the fire. Placing the Stone People in the Fire. Singing of songs.

22:30 - 00:30 - The Stone People Sweat Lodge Ceremony
22:30 Meeting by the fire - purification, consecration of the fire, intention
23:00 Entering the sweat lodge
After midnight after the ritual - voluntary sauna until the hot stones run out.

The sweat lodge has 4 parts - Celebration of the 4 elements.
There is a short break of about 5 minutes between these parts. Water is served.
The ritual is an accompanying ceremony.

FAQ

Can menstruating women go there?
Yes, menstruating women are welcome. The lodge is a symbol of the womb of the Earth Mother. The bleeding and seeping of blood into the earth is symbolic of connecting with feminine energy and showing respect and gratitude.

How do I dress for the lodge?
We go to the lodge as we were born, that is, naked. This Ceremony, however, is guided by the way of beauty. If you have a problem with nudity, you can wear a light scarf to cover you.

What do you sit on in a lodge?
You sit right on the floor. It's about feeling the ground. However, if one has health problems, one can sit on a towel or other small mat. One can also sit on one's heels.

Can I eat in front of the lodge?
Do I have to go on a diet before the ritual? Yes, you can eat before the lodge. It is recommended not to overeat, but to eat something small, like soup. It is not advisable to go to the lodge fasting unless one is used to it. It is a cleansing ceremony so it may be supportive to let go of unhealthy foods a few days or weeks before the ceremony.

How long does the whole ceremony take?
The ceremony itself lasts about 1,5 hours.

Will I be able to go out if I'm feel hot?
Yes, you can always go out and cool off. The only time I won't let you out or in is when hot rocks on sharp pitchforks go into the lodge. There are four breaks throughout the ceremony when you may or may not go outside.

What is the way of beauty?
Obeying the authority of your heart (not your emotions). It's consciously watching our personal boundaries and not running away from discomfort prematurely, while also having the kindness to take care of ourselves if anything goes unhealthily beyond our own boundaries.
