A true craftsman spends years perfecting their technique, honing their skills over time. But for an artist, there’s also an emotional investment—and that can be overwhelming. It takes real courage to put your flaws and doubts on display. Especially when you’ve experienced the dizzying highs of a rapid rise: selling out the Olympia before even releasing a debut album (which later went gold), touring the world in front of thousands, playing legendary venues like Red Rocks in the U.S.

Fakear needed a reset. A return to the essentials - spontaneous, honest, and real. A decade after his first breakthrough, it wasn’t about looking back with nostalgia or regret, but rather embracing the past with a sense of gratitude.

That shift led to *Talisman*, released on February 24, 2023. An album defined by tracks like *Moonlight Moves*, *Altar*, *Voyager*, and *Odyssea* (featuring Camille Etienne, a key voice in environmental activism). It was backed by a sold-out tour across France and Europe, including stops at Le Trianon and a packed-out show at Salle Pleyel on February 2, 2024.

But a comeback like this—one that resonates with both fans and the media—doesn’t just end with an album release. Inspiration doesn’t vanish overnight. That’s how *Hypertalisman* and *Hypertalisman Rebuild* came to life. A continuation of this creative surge for Théo, an extension of *Talisman*, expanding into a new dimension—a parallel world of sound.

“The more I reconnected with the world around me, the more I realized how much I needed it, how much I’d missed it. *Hypertalisman* is shaped by that feeling. I make music to be shared, to be felt, to be danced to. *Talisman* was about stripping things back to the core—*Hypertalisman* is about looking ahead.”

Now, in February 2025, Fakear keeps the momentum going with *Let U Go*, a track inspired by the deep personal and professional connections that have shaped his journey.

“An artist’s career is built on a family, and mine has been by my side for years. We grow together, we push forward as a team. *Let U Go* is about that—more than a decade of collaboration. Some of the people around me started as friends, others became friends over time. This track is a tribute to all of that, wrapped in a UK house sound—an ode to the nights we’ve spent DJing, dancing, and celebrating together over the past five years.”
