"Yoga is turning attention inward. It is a complete reversal. If you do not escape into the future or the past, you can dive into yourself, because your being is HERE and NOW." - Osho

Can the path to inner balance be paved with scientific publications, martial arts, and silent breath? For Martin Kudláček (Bodhitary), the answer is definitely yes.

Martin is a yoga instructor and a professor of kinanthropology at the University of Palacký in Olomouc, an expert in healthy lifestyle, wellness, and conscious movement. His professional journey began during his studies when he intensely focused on sports and group fitness instruction (step aerobics, aqua aerobics) in the United States. Over time, he explored the world of martial arts, long-distance running, and sport shooting, before finding a deeper balance in tai chi and yoga.

For him, yoga is not just a physical practice but a lifelong journey — a path of awareness, calm, integration, and spiritual growth. He believes in the connection of body, mind, and spirit through movement and breath. He draws inspiration from Japanese and Native American cultures, nature, music, and silence.

He was born in Valtice, grew up in Břeclav, and his fate is now deeply tied to Olomouc, where he still works not only as an academic but also as a teacher. His classes combine expertise, experience, and a profound human dimension. They are an invitation to quietude, conscious movement, and a return to oneself.

In addition to movement, he loves tea, coffee, good wine, mountain hiking, the Adriatic, and challenges — whether they involve ice-cold water or academic politics.
