DARNO takes you on a journey where the deep roots of Armenian folklore intertwine with the pulsating beats of contemporary electronic music. This is more than sound, it’s an experience that bridges the past and present and reaches deep into the soul.
His work blends traditional Armenian music with modern electronic soundscapes. Organic instruments like the duduk, ancestral singing, and ritual elements merge seamlessly with the club scene. The result is a genre-defying, deeply moving sound often described as folktronica or organic house with soul.
DARNO performs both solo and as one half of Beard2Beard, a duo he co-created with the artist Sham.m.an. Together, they craft ritual-inspired sets that have captivated audiences across around the world.
