Carol Teixeira is from Brazil and is one of the leading contemporary voices in Tantra. She is known for her authentic retreats that bring together art, ritual and the body as a powerful instrument for self-knowledge and inner transformation. For more than twenty years she has dedicated herself to studying the body as a gateway to transcendence and deep personal understanding.

She is a philosopher, writer and Tantric teacher who bridges Western and Eastern perspectives. She spent years studying and traveling in India and trained with renowned Tantric teachers. Carol is deeply connected to the Bhakti tradition and the practice of mantra chanting inspired by Vedic masters.

She is the author of three books, wrote sexuality columns for major Brazilian magazines for many years and hosted radio shows. She also spoke at TEDx with the provocative and widely discussed talk Empowerment needs to go through the vagina. Her work weaves together philosophy, tradition and contemporary experience and shows that the path to wholeness begins in the body and in conscious presence.
