FACILITATORS AND GUIDES OF THE HEALING FESTIVAL 2025
Mirka Švábková (CZ)
Mirka Švábková is a woman—and above all, a mother—deeply inspired by the natural authenticity of children. Through her own parenting journey, she discovered the power of truly listening—to herself and to others.
As a graduate of a Nonviolent Communication (NVC) course, she has learned to recognize her emotions and needs and to meet them with kindness and presence.
In her free time, she enjoys creating macramé—a meditative practice that helps her calm the mind and express what words often cannot.
Mirka works as a guide at Leela, a self-directed democratic school in Planá near Mariánské Lázně, where she supports children in cultivating self-awareness, responsibility, and mutual respect.
At Healing Festival, she will co-lead a workshop with Marie Zemanová focused on Nonviolent Communication for teenagers and their parents—an invitation to connect through empathy, understanding, and respectful dialogue.
Parents 2.0: How to Hack Them and Finally Get Through
Do you ever feel like your parents just don’t get you? Or maybe you’re a parent wondering how to truly connect with your teenager?
Join us for a playful and interactive workshop based on Nonviolent Communication (NVC), where we'll explore how to listen — and be heard — with more empathy and ease.
You'll dive into a detective-style game to identify emotions, get practical tips for smoother communication, and step into a space for sharing where you can see the parent–child relationship from a fresh perspective.
Discover how to talk without the drama and find understanding instead of conflict.
This workshop is open to everyone — come with a parent or on your own.
Join us and learn how to "hack" your parents (and maybe even yourself)!
