The Hedárium Theatre was born out of the desire to tell original stories that view the world from different angles than traditional fairy tales. It stems from a fascination with the fairy-tale world, natural beings, and the delicate threads of human relationships.

Behind this poetic world stands Hedvika Řezáčová, who has been involved in theatre since childhood. It was then that she first encountered puppets, and they became the main protagonists of her stories.

In her work, original music and singing also play a key role, creating a unique atmosphere for each performance, alongside the puppets. She enjoys meeting both young and adult audiences and sharing the magic of the theatrical moment.

After high school, she went on to study acting at the Department of Alternative and Puppet Theatre at DAMU in Prague. One of her home theatres is also the Minor Theatre.
