How can transformation be a permanent presence in the lives of men?

This is the question that Dutch-born Oscar Alonso has been seeking the answer to for several decades.

After meeting the Dalai Lama, having lunch with the Indian royal family, and climbing the Himalayas above 6,100 meters, he came to the conclusion that, regardless of where we come from or where we were born, in the end, we all share an infinite common journey called life. It is within this journey that our search for identity and the meaning of life lies.

And so, in 2021, he founded The Gathering of Men.

• This initiative for men is also a community that regularly offers events and programs focused on lasting, positive change in the lives of men, who then carry this change into their surroundings. It is about spiritual connection, rooted in community, attracting men of all ages and races. Thanks to their efforts, they can create a better world. For more than three years now, Oscar has been encouraging men to be authentic through self-awareness at regular meetings and workshops.
• Oscar was once drawn to the nomadic lifestyle, which led him to embark on "A Neverending Journey" across Asia in January 2018.
• He also worked for TEDx Amsterdam as part of the Experience Team & Zoom Hero.
• In 2019, he was introduced to NLP and visited the UNLP Institute in Amsterdam.
• In 2020, he studied Philosophy and Business Ethics in Buenos Aires.

Oscar is coming to the Healing Festival for the first time with The Gathering of Men. He believes that every man, regardless of age, stereotypes, or trauma, can embark on a journey of sustainable transformation.
