Finding Heaven on Earth

Coming from India, we have a rich culture and tradition coming from the wisdom of Ayurveda and Nature Cure as taught to us by the Yogis, Rishis (saints) and our masters centuries ago.

Recently, there was a video of an Orangutang who had suffered a deep wound on its cheek. As the scientists in the jungle observed this creature, they saw him take a leaf out of a particular tree everyday, chew it and make a paste of it and then apply it to its cheek. Within 2 weeks, the deep wound had completely healed.

As human beings, we were also blessed with similar intuitive knowledge and were born with this wisdom but as we stepped out of the forests and natural worlds and moved to big concrete jungles, we lost our connection with Mother Nature and all of her healing powers that were meant for us.

The modern day pharmaceutical industry makes billions out of our sickness and naturally is happy to see us sick and miserable rather than healthy and happy.

If we were to follow very simple and basic rules of our ancestors, we will be able to live a life where we won’t need doctors like we do now. These are some of the many secrets that doctors and drug companies don’t want you to know.

  1. Fasting: We are used to eating breakfast, lunch and dinner. We also eat in between these 3 meals. It is impossible for us to stay healthy with this lifestyle. Even if you are exercising everyday, you don’t need to eat so much. Fasting once a week combined with intermittent fasting is the best way to make sure that toxins don’t build up in your body. When you fast, it is the crucial time your body gets to stop wasting energy on your digestive process and focus its resources on healing you.
  2. Sleep: If you sleep late, and you get 8 hours of sleep it is not good for your health. On the other hand, if you sleep 6 or 7 hours a day but sleep at the right time, like 9,30 or 10.30, the quality of sleep you will get will be much better. Sleep is the ultimate healer. It detoxifies your body, rejuvenates you and is even good for your soul.
  3. Avoid anything cold: When you have something cold, especially beers, colas and even water, it extinguishes your digestive fire and the food in your system rots rather than digests properly. Avoid anything cold and drinkable s much as hot or warm water as you can.
  4. Don’t stand when you are drinking or eating: When you are standing and drinking water or eating your food, it does not digest properly. Sit down and slowly sip your water and chew your food well.
  5. Chemicals: There are chemicals all around us. We don’t need any of them. I stopped using soap now and just use plain water. Sometimes I use natural products like medicinal mud, gram flour and if I really feel like, organic, hand made soap. The chemicals in your lipstick, makeup, nail polish, shampoos, sun screens and toothpaste are only few of the examples of the cancer causing chemicals all around us. Train yourself to recognise them and make the shift to natural and organic products.
  6. Muscles that don’t work or move, atrophy which means that they rot. Not only is it bad for that muscle but it starts a chain reaction of negative energy that becomes a part of your aura. Your life is beautiful only when you have a beautiful aura so make sure that you do some form of exercise every single day. It can be yoga one day and swimming the next. Tennis or football. Even a simple exercise like walking is great for your health. Just don’t allow the body to rot away.
  7. Lastly, be very careful of your Karmas. Always be mindful of your words, actions and even thoughts. If your Karma is good, the divine energy is protecting you all the time. If your Karma is bad, you can be as health conscious as you like but bad health, misery and sadness will find its way to you.

Life is meant to be lived as a celebration. If we follow simple basic rules, we live in sync with the cosmic vibrations of love and harmony. Love yourself, love nature and love every living creature on this planet.
You will not need to die to go to heaven. You will be able to experience heaven on earth while you are alive.
