Who’s Behind Adventure Camp?

CoLibri School – Pioneers of Free Education

CoLibri School is at the forefront of self-directed learning in the Czech Republic. Here, children explore the world through personal experiences, innate curiosity, and a sense of responsibility.

"At CoLibri, we don't believe that children are merely preparing for life – we believe they are living it right now."

Our approach is built on three core principles:

TRUST

We believe children know best what is important for them. Their innate drive to learn, explore, and develop is our guiding light.

RESPECT

We nurture respect for oneself and others by honoring personal boundaries, creating a safe space where everyone can shine and be an integral part of the community.Žitím v respektujícím a bezpečném prostředí děti získávají sebedůvěru, vědomí svých hranic a respekt vůči sobě i ostatním.

FREEDOM & RESPONSIBILITY

We foster personal responsibility by encouraging children to make their own choices, act independently, and learn from the outcomes.

Meet Our Guides

David Dudek

He is an experienced guide and educator with a passion for nature, movement, music, and self-development. In his approach to children, he emphasizes partnership, creativity, and the joy of creating and learning together. He supports children in developing their talents and helps them resolve conflicts. Together with his colleagues, he is among the pioneers of so-called self-directed education within the Czech educational system, co-creating a school where children are not merely prepared for life but truly live it.

Dagmar Chladková

A coach, lecturer, and guide. She enjoys creating a safe and kind environment where children can freely grow and explore the world as well as themselves.

Petra Rechová

At CoLibri School, she leads activities ranging from movement and creative projects — from beading to theater, horseback riding to board games, gymnastics to languages and history. She holds a degree in social pedagogy and, thanks to her own journey of self-development, has been guiding adults for over 15 years through rituals, constellations, and women’s circles. She has been working with children in extracurricular education since she was 14. For her, self-directed education and non-violent communication are a dream come true and a path with deep meaning.

Sára Špatková

She works at CoLibri School as a guide who enjoys listening to children with respect, openness, and curiosity. She believes that even in the smallest fragments of their stories, something essential is hidden. Her studies in psychology and non-violent communication lead her toward a deep understanding of the human experience and inspire her to find ways to support children (and adults) — not by leading them, but by standing beside them and holding space for their own discoveries.

You can also look forward to meeting Libor, Daniela, and seven other guides.
