"I love the authentic creative expression of the body, playfulness, and beauty." - Lucie Charouzová

Do you feel like you're just twisting on the dance floor rather than actually dancing?

Lucie is a dancer, choreographer, and dance guide who helps children from the age of 4 and adults move naturally, with ease and joy.

She graduated from the Duncan Centre Dance Conservatory (contemporary dance, dance theater) and holds a master's degree in dance pedagogy from HAMU in Prague.

As a dancer and performer, she focuses on interactive and improvised projects.

She has collaborated:

  • With visual artists at exhibition openings (e.g., Radka Bodzewicz, Roman Štětina, and others),
  • With artists at various cultural events (e.g., Liběna Rochová, Matěj Forman, and others),
  • And has been working long-term with the organic group Eli a kol., performing in children's productions such as Svět z papíru, Momo, and Škatulení.

As a choreographer, she primarily focuses on children’s dance creations at ZUŠ (Elementary Art School). She is frequently invited as a jury member for scenic dance festivals. Her choreography, inspired by physical phenomena, was presented at an exhibition accompanying the ICHEP 2024 international conference as part of the Be Inspired project.

She finds interdisciplinary collaboration deeply meaningful, which is why she has expanded into movement consulting for singers from the Wunderbaro Music School and is preparing for future work on a composed performance.

As a dance guide, she is dedicated to children’s dance education at ZUŠ Libčice nad Vltavou. She also offers original workshops for the general public and dance educators—and would be happy to bring her expertise to your community as well.

"I believe that when I have a flexible spine, I have a flexible mind. I believe that when I relax into the earth, I relax into life. I believe that when I stand upright, I stand for myself in life. I believe that when I touch my body, I also touch my heart in life."
I invite you to the playroom and I am looking forward to our shared presence.
